Groupe mythique de rock indépendant formé à New York par Blake Schwarzenbach (Jawbreaker) et Jeremy Chatelain en 1997. Le duo utilisait initialement une boîte à rythmes avant d'intégrer le batteur Chris Daly (ex-Texas Is The Reason) et le guitariste Peter Martin. 

Four cornered nights et le deuxième album studio de la formation, paru le 11 septembre 2000.
